To make the government school admission process transparent, easy and time-saving, the Ministry of Education and the authorities have adopted the system of school admission through lottery.
By taking a decision in the meeting of the Ministry of Education, they set the deadline for online admission application for government school admission and set the deadline for the admission result. The online admission application was accepted from November 14 to December 6, 2022 AD. up to date

Interested candidates can apply for the school application of their choice from the government school till 6th December.
The admission lottery results of the students who applied online through the gsa teletalk website for admission to government schools were released on Monday, December 12. You can see the admission merit and waitlist results directly from gsa.teletalk.com.bd website.
Apart from online, school admission lottery results can be known through mobile SMS.

Like every year, students are selected for admission to various classes of government schools through lottery. Government school students will be admitted from among those selected in the digital lottery process.
The digital lottery program of the admission process was held on Monday, December 12, 2022 at 4 pm at the International Mother Language Institute of Dhaka. The digital lottery for admission was held in the presence of senior officials of the Ministry of Education. The Minister of Education was present as the chief guest at the lottery ceremony. Dipu Moni, Deputy Education Minister Mahibul Hasan Chowdhury was present as special guest. Also, Director General of Secondary and Higher Education Directorate Professor Nehal Ahmed along with senior officials of the Ministry were present.
It is to be noted here that 626,000 students have applied for admission to the vacant seats of classes 1 to 9 in 540 government schools of the country.
Students who have been selected through the lottery must take admission by December 28. The new academic year classes will start from 1st January 2023.
