Every year Shahjalal Islami Bank publishes scholarship notification for students immediately after SSC and HSC exam results. In view of that, poor and talented students who have passed SSC and HSC apply. Bank authorities scrutinize the application and select the students. Moreover, in many cases, Shahjalal Islami Bank provides financial support in various ways.
Shahjalal Islami Bank under regular education scholarship program “Shahjalal Islami Bank Foundation” will provide scholarships to underprivileged meritorious students who passed Secondary (SSC)/ Equivalent and Higher Secondary (HSC)/ Equivalent examinations in 2022.
Shahjalal Islami Bank Scholarship Amount and Duration
Education Level:- HSC/ Equivalent
Duration:- 2 (two) years
Monthly Scholarship:- 2000 Tk
Initial grant:- One time Rs 6000 for textbooks and Rs 1000 for travel to venue.
Education Level:- Graduate (Hons, MBBS, DVM, Architect)
Duration:- 3-5 (three to five) years
Monthly Scholarship:- 2500 Tk
Initial grant:- One time Rs 6000 for textbooks and Rs 1000 for coming to the venue.
Shahjalal Islami Bank Scholarship Application Conditions
Apply for the scholarship in the prescribed form (form download link is given below). In this form, the required documents mentioned in page 3, serial 20 should be attached with the application form.
If any of the information is incomplete or if the applicant proves to have received a scholarship from any other institution, the application will be considered invalid.
If the monthly income of the parents is more than 15 thousand rupees, the application cannot be made.
If any information provided in the form is found to be incorrect or false, the scholarship received by the student will be considered cancelled.
The decision of the authority in awarding the scholarship will be final.
In case of educational institutions in divisional cities or city corporation areas
Science Department:- GPA should be 5.00 Other Departments:- GPA should be 4.80
In case of educational institutions outside City Corporation Area:
Science Department : Must have GPA 4.80
Other Sections : Must have GPA 4.50

The scholarship result will be published in due course on the official website of Shahjalal Islami Bank (www.sjiblbd.com).
Conditions of Application
1. The following documents attested by the Principal/Head of the Department of the present educational institution should be attached with the application form:
– 3 copies of applicant’s and 1 copy of parent/guardian’s recent photograph should be attached correctly in the specified space of the application form.
– Attested photocopy of SSC/HSC side transcript/mark sheet.
– Attested photocopy of SSC HSC Side Test Manival
– Attested photocopy of SSC/HSC examination registration card and admit card
– Attested photocopy of Student ID Card/Certificate and Admission Receipt issued by the current educational institution of the student.
– Photocopy of the birth registration certificate of the student, as well as the national identity card with the photograph of the father or mother
– Original copy of income statement certificate from the concerned institution’s senior officer, first class gazetted officer in other cases, ward commissioner or UP chairman if the student’s father, mother or guardian is employed.
– Duly filled application form and other documents should be pinned together by post/courier or directly to the address below.
– All student’s contact address, mobile phone number and email number must be accurately recorded in the spaces provided in the form
